Our family bought a little piece of land with hope of giving our children the "farm" experience. For 7 years our family lived in New Orleans, LA. We were blessed and doubled our family through Foster/Adoption while living there. While we were very happy in Louisiana, we longed for rural farm life. To be surrounded by God's country, nature and animals to brighten the day. It's so nice to be able to hear the children's laughter as they play with the dogs in the creek or watch the kids ride off with the horses and dogs and come home all smiles. So we worked together as a family and created our,"Little piece of Heaven". Our plans at first were to build a home on the property but after a lot of discussion we have decided to make it a farm and that alone. For the past few years our close friends and family have enjoyed watching our children work with the animals and land so much that we feel if we were to move there it may loose the park like feel.

If you are able to pick up your puppy from our farm on adoption day, expect to see puppies, a cat or two, turkeys, goats, cows, chickens, horses, ponies, and more. Our hope is to make this experience amazing for children as well as their parents. There is a creek that runs through the property, so expect to see frogs and maybe a turtle or two. You also may see horses pulling carts or even dogs for that matter! We are in the process of teaching our dogs how to pull carts and sleds. There is always something new and exciting for children to do. So if you see pony's and carts being ridden on the road on your way, they are more than likely leaving or coming back to our farm. So when you get here, hopefully the sun is shining so you can stretch your legs from the long ride, and enjoy the "Farm Life".
